• Is spam or unsolicited advertising
• Involves illegal goods or services

5. Payments, Contributions, and Fees

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a contribution, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Fee Structure

When you make a contribution, the following fees apply:

• Platform Fee: 2.9% of the contribution amount. This fee supports platform operations, development, customer support, and service improvements.
• Payment Processing Fee: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. This fee is charged by our payment processor (Stripe) for secure payment handling.

Example: For a $25 contribution, you would pay approximately $26.76 total ($25 contribution + $0.73 platform fee + $1.03 processing fee). 100% of your $25 contribution goes directly to the creator.

Fee Transparency

All fees are clearly displayed before you complete any contribution. The exact breakdown (contribution amount, platform fee, processing fee, and total) is shown on the checkout page.

Refunds

Contributions are generally non-refundable. If a campaign does not reach its goal and has auto-refund enabled, contributions may be automatically refunded. For other refund requests, please contact support.

6. Affiliate Links

The Service may contain affiliate links. We may earn a commission when you make purchases through these links at no additional cost to you.

7. Tax Responsibilities for Creators

If you receive funds through the Service (contributions to your campaigns), you are responsible for reporting this income and paying any applicable taxes.

IRS Reporting (1099-K)

Under U.S. tax law, payment processors (including Stripe, our payment provider) are required to report payments to the IRS when you receive $600 or more in a calendar year. This is reported on Form 1099-K.

• Stripe will collect your tax information (SSN or EIN) during account setup
• If you exceed $600 in annual payouts, you will receive a 1099-K from Stripe
• You are responsible for reporting this income on your tax return
• This applies to U.S. residents; international users may have different requirements

Your Tax Obligations

We are not tax advisors. Please consult a qualified tax professional regarding your specific situation. You are solely responsible for:

• Reporting all income received through the Service
• Paying applicable federal, state, and local taxes
• Maintaining accurate records of your transactions
• Providing accurate tax information to Stripe

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Service.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
